YVES EXPANDS VEGGIE CUISINE MARKET

Yves Veggies Cuisine of Delta, B.C. has expanded its soy-based meat alternatives selection to include Veggie Turkey slices and Veggie Burger Burgers. Known for the creation of veggie wieners, the company is now filling grocers freezers with these meat alternatives, making them available to Canadians by the end of the month. The Veggie Turkey slices, made from soy and a combination of spices, have the taste of turkey but without the fat, cholesterol and other additives of meat. "Our Burger Burgers are the perfect classic hamburger, juicy and tender but without all the calories and fat." President and founder of Yves Veggie Cuisine, Yves Potvin said in a release. The new turkey slices and burgers are being promoted with in-store promotions and point-of-purchase materials created in-house.
