THE BAY TO LOOK AT MARKETING STRATEGY

The Bay of Toronto is looking at getting a facelift. The national retailer has hired the Perennial Design Company of Toronto to re-position and re-brand The Bay. Bay national corporate communications manager Shawna Rossi told Adnews that Perennial will look at everything, including marketing strategy and redesigning the stores. Once Perennial develops the plan, The Bay will choose which components it wants to use. Currently, The Bay focuses its advertising on women, doing mainly sales promotion and vendor advertising. Fuel Inc. of Toronto handles advertising for the retailer.
