MOLSON SUPPORTS MILLER BRAND IN NEW CAMPAIGN

Toronto-based Molson Breweries is promoting its Miller Lite brand of beer in its latest campaign that began last week. The campaign uses three 30-second TV spots that feature unusual individuals in entertaining situations. One ad features two offbeat men sitting at a bar saluting a Canadian folk song, 99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall. In another, a Canadian moose is mesmerized by the headlights of a Miller Lite truck and the driver gets caught in the same trance when trying to help the animal. The campaign will air in Ontario and Newfoundland. It was created by MacLaren McCann of Toronto. The TV ads will be supported by radio and in-bar promotions.
