AD BILLINGS DROP IN JAPAN

Advertising billings of the 10 largest ad agencies in Japan dropped 2.3% in June to $1.8 billion(US), when compared to the same month last year. Agencies saw a decrease in billings through radio, newspaper and television. Three ad agencies increased their June billings. They were Asatsu, Daiko and I&S. The seven with lower billings were Dentsu, Hakuhodo, Tokyu Agency, Yomiko Advertising, Dai-Ichi Kikaku, McCann-Erickson and Asahi Advertising.
