VAL-PAK RECOGNIZED BY CONSUMERS

Awareness of Val-Pak, a coupon mailer company, reached 85% in a recent survey conducted by the Angus Reid Group of Toronto. The number was almost double of that of the closest competitor. Of those who recall receiving the Val-Pak envelope, 95% open it and review the coupons inside. The study was commissioned by Val-Pak. It surveyed 400 consumers in Mississauga and Kitchener, both in Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Edmonton and Vancouver. All respondents were 18 years of age and older, and use coupons at least once every six months. Val-Pak is a cooperative direct mail company with 43 franchises across Canada and 205 in the U.S. The company provides customized coupon advertising to local businesses and mails them to over 4.4 million households and businesses at least six times a year.
