By Adnews Staff
The Hudson's Bay Company is putting its Bay stores through a change. The company is now testing RadioShack outlets within four of its Bay stores. The move was made to bring in younger customers to the stores. The outlets are located in Bay stores in Toronto, Burlington and Oshawa, all in Ontario. HBC president and CEO Bill Fields says in a release that the development of third party retail outlets within HBC stores is a significant part of the company's strategy to update and enhance the shopping experience for customers. RadioShack hopes to increase the number of shoppers visiting RadioShack outlets on a regular basis. Hudson's Bay operates over 100 Bay department stores across Canada. RadioShack of Peterborough, Ont. has 1,500 outlets from coast-to-coast.
