CAMPAIGN FOCUSES ON HISTORY OF MOLSON EXPORT

Toronto-based Molson Breweries is putting a push behind its Export brand of brew. The company launched an Ontario TV campaign this week to show consumers that Export ale has been a part of Canada for a long time. The ad is black and white and features a celebration of the end of World War II and the original era of Swing. The ad ties in the return of this music in the '90s. The ad will be supported by radio, outdoor and print ads, as well as point-of-purchase materials. The tagline for the campaign is "History in the Making." The campaign was created by MacLaren McCann of Toronto. Molson Export was originally launched in 1903 under the Export Ale name.
