TELE-QUEBEC REVAMPS PROGRAM LINE UP
By Adnews Staff
Quebec TV broadcaster Tele-Quebec is giving the station a new look this fall and will launch an ad campaign to promote the revamped station later this summer. Until now, Tele-Quebec was largely an information and news channel, airing public affairs programs. In the fall, the station will carry mainly arts and entertainment shows, as well as some public affairs shows. The new line up will be promoted in the province using TV, radio, transit, outdoor and magazine ads created by Groupaction of Montreal. In addition, Tele-Quebec recently launched a trade print campaign to promote the new look to advertisers. These ads were also created by Groupaction of Montreal. Tele-Quebec says the fall season will be similar to the programming on English-language stations such as PBS, A&E, The Discovery Channel and BRAVO. Tele-Quebec began operating in 1968.
