PAGEMART STRENGTHENS RETAIL MARKET

PageMart Canada of Toronto has signed up six new retailers to carry its paging products. They are: the Future Shop, The Office Depot/Office Place, CompuCentre, CompuSmart, The Telephone Booth/La Cabine Telephonique and Wal-Mart Canada. PageMart is the Canadian arm of PageMart Inc. of Dallas. The company entered the Canadian market in 1996 and began selling its pagers in the retail market last year. Canadian advertising for PageMart is handled by various agencies on a project basis.
