IBM EXPANDS CRAYOLA SOFTWARE LINE

U.S.-based International Business Machines Corp. will add three new software titles this summer to its line of Crayola branded programs. They are: Crayola Make a Masterpiece, 3D Castle Creator and Paint 'n Play Pony. Using Crayola Make a Masterpiece, children can create pictures while learning about art styles from around the world. The Crayola 3D Castle Creator allows users to build 3D castles, then walk around inside their creations. The Crayola Paint 'n Play Pony is geared to young girls. It allows users to design, decorate, dress and take care of their own virtual pony, horse or unicorn. The programs will be available in North America. In Canada, the software will be promoted using point-of-purchase displays created by Ogilvy & Mather of Toronto. Co-marketing with distributors will also be used.
