STUDENTS TURN TO COMPUTERS FOR HELP WITH HOMEWORK

Students are doing more and more homework on computers, according to a study conducted by the Angus Reid Group. Of the six hours that students with computers spend on homework, over one-third of that time is spent on a computer. Fifty-six percent of the respondents said the computer is their most important homework tool, the calculator came in at 28% and the dictionary and encyclopedia trailed at 7% each. The study was commissioned by California-based Intel Corp.
