GUINNESS GOES ON THE AIR

Guinness Canada has moved into radio. The company launched a Toronto radio campaign this week to promote its Kilkenny Irish Cream Ale. The ads will be rolled-out into other Canadian cities in the fall. They were created by RadioWorks of Toronto. TN Media of Toronto handles media planning and buying for the brand. Until now, Guinness promoted Kilkenny using in-bar and point-of-purchase materials. RadioWorks recently won the Kilkenny account after a competition with three other agencies. Advertising for the ale was being handled in-house.
