NEWFOUNDLAND CAPITAL BUYS EDMONTON RADIO STATION

Newfoundland Capital Corp. Ltd. has added another radio station to its portfolio. The company has bought CIRK-FM in Edmonton from Craig Broadcast Systems Inc. CIRK-FM is a classic rock station. Newfoundland Capital already owns two other radio stations in the city: CFCW-AM and CKRA-FM. CFCW is a country music station and CKRA plays adult contemporary tunes. Newfoundland Capital is a communications company which operates 13 radio stations across Canada and publishes 20 community newspapers and specialty publications.
