CNA TRIES TO INCREASE NEWSPAPER READERSHIP

The Canadian Newspaper Association wants more young people to read newspapers. The organization launched a campaign this week to increase the readership of newspapers among young Canadians. The full-page newspaper ad uses humor to contrast people who read newspapers with those that don't. In the ad, newspaper readers are shown with regular-sized heads, while the non-readers have tiny heads sitting on large shoulders. The headline says, "Grow Your Brain. Read a newspaper." The campaign was created by Ranscombe & Co. of Toronto.
