IBC PROMOTES INSURANCE EDUCATION

Canadians believe that improved customer service will help consumers understand the insurance industry, according to a consumer forum conducted by the Insurance Bureau of Canada. Forum attendees also determined that the industry needs to educate students more and that simpler language needs to be used in policies. In addition, partnerships between consumers and the industry need to be strengthened. To dialogue with consumers more, the IBC launched a national radio campaign last month. In addition, TV ads are being aired on The Weather Network. The IBC refused to name the agency that created the campaign.
