SOFTWARE TO GUIDE PEOPLE THROUGH FINANCIAL PLANNING
By Adnews Staff
T.E. Financial Consultants Ltd. is helping Canadians manage their money in private. The company will bring a financial planning CD-ROM to retail outlets in January. Currently it is available through a 1-800 number. Called MoneyGuide '98, the CD-ROM allows individuals explore and learn about their financial options, review their current situation and develop action plans to suit their needs. MoneyGuide is also designed to help individuals know what questions to ask when looking for a personal financial advisor, investments, insurance, estate information or tax planning. Also included in the CD-ROM is an AOL Canada trial offer, HomeTax-Early Bird Tax Planning software and an introductory subscription offer to The Financial Post magazine. This is the second MoneyGuide T.E. Financial has produced. The first was available in 1997. Changes made in the MoneyGuide '98 version reflect changes in seniors' benefits, employment insurance, RESP and other federal and provincial budget information. MoneyGuide '98 is being promoted using print and radio ads created in-house.
