CHATELAINE HITS THE AIRWAVES
By Adnews Staff
In a bid to increase readership, Chatelaine magazine launched the radio portion of its campaign this week to coincide with monthly on-sale dates. The 30-second issue-specific spots highlight feature articles of the current newsstand copy, followed by the tag line "Where Canadian women get it all, together." The radio ads will be aired on 22 stations in Toronto and Ottawa beginning this week, and in Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton beginning next week. The ads complement a campaign that Chatelaine launched in July using outdoor and transit in Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton. These ads will appear in Toronto beginning next week. Print ads in Maclean, Flare, Saturday Night, Today's Parent, Modern Women and Chatelaine began earlier this year. The campaign was created by The Ongoing Partnership of Toronto. Media buying was done by Media Buying Services' Montreal office. Chatelaine magazine is published by Maclean Hunter Publishing of Toronto.
