FAR WEST BUYS CONCEPT LINE OF CLOTHING
By Adnews Staff
Far West Industries of Vernon, B.C. has bought most of the assets of Groove International Marketing of Vancouver, including the Concept clothing line. The company was put into receivership recently. Most of its sales were international, and it had been losing money. Concept will operate as a division of Far West and be managed by Brad McCann, founder of Groove International. Advertising for Groove was handled in-house. Far West creates its own advertising with the help of freelancers. Concept is a line of snowboard apparel including jackets and pants as well as accessories such as back packs, hats, gloves and belts. Far West markets Gore-Tex and DriZone outerwear.
