LCBO TAKES TO THE MEDITERRANEAN

The Liquor Control Board of Ontario is sending its customers to the Mediterranean region. The organization will launch a promotion next week featuring the wines, spirits, beers and complimentary cuisine from the region. The LCBO will highlight 73 products and using informative displays showcasing wines, spirits and beers from France, Italy, Greece, Spain, Portugal and Croatia. Selected outlets will feature a CD of Spanish and Middle Eastern-influenced guitar music. One dollar from the sale of each CD will go to the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada. The promotion also includes an in-store contest for a 10-day tour of Italy for two. The promotion will be supported using radio and limited print ads. The radio ads were created by The Communique Group of Toronto, while the print ads and point-of-purchase materials were created in-house.
