STENTOR PROMOTES LONG DISTANCE SERVICE

Stentor launched a print campaign recently targeted at international travellers to promote its Canada Direct long distance service. In the ads a Canadian phone booth is placed in overseas locations such as Paris, London and Hong Kong to communicate that Canadians can call home easily. The ads were created by the Leo Burnett Co. of Toronto. Using Canada Direct, customers call from overseas to Canada or another country by dialing an access code instead of calling a foreign operator or calling from a hotel. A Canadian operator or an automatic voice prompt will connect them to their home in English or French. The rates are Canadian and are billed to their home phone number.
