GREYHOUND GOES TO AIR
By Adnews Staff
Calgary-based Greyhound Air recorded a couple of advertising firsts recently for its discount airline. Late last month the company launched its first-ever radio spots in a branding campaign running in markets which Greyhound Air services. Also, this month the carrier began its first magazine campaign with ads appearing across Canada in Time and Maclean's. The advertising touts Greyhound's Liberty Fare flyer program. Greyhound says Liberty offers at least a 50% savings over its competitors' unrestricted economy fares. The program also includes priority boarding and Greyhound Air travel rewards. The Liberty Fare is fully-refundable and changeable at any time, requires no Saturday night stays and no advance booking.
