Waterfront Toronto hires Strategic Objectives

Waterfront Toronto has retained Strategic Objectives to handle communications for its upcoming expansion of Biidaasige Park in the city’s Port Lands region. The agency won the account in a competitive process. The assignment includes media relations, stakeholder engagement and launch event management. The new area of parkland consists of 10 acres on an artificial island and is part of a larger ongoing project to upgrade Toronto’s waterfront.
“We were looking for a communications partner to help bring the many dimensions of our story together, from the park itself to the unprecedented transformation taking place across Toronto’s waterfront,” said Emily Campbell, senior vice-president of strategic communications and public engagement at Waterfront Toronto. “Strategic Objectives brought creative ideas, strong strategic thinking and a clear understanding of the audiences we need to reach.”
