TD Insurance, Realtor.ca launch digital promotion

TD Insurance and Realtor.ca have begun a joint initiative that adds home insurance advice to the real estate listing website. According to the companies, the intent is to help consumers better understand insurance issues earlier in the process of buying a property. The effort provides a collection of educational resources and planning tools, as well a a way to directly contact TD Insurance staff for a quote. TD Insurance is a subsidiary of TD Bank Group, while Realtor.ca is a subsidiary of the Canadian Real Estate Association.
“Home insurance is a critical part of protecting one of the biggest investments Canadians will ever make, but it shouldn’t be something people think about at the last minute,” said Steve Laurin, vice-president of the affinity market group at TD Insurance. “By working with Realtor.ca, we can support Canadians earlier in their home search with a more human experience.”
