CNIB begins Braille Nails promotion
By Rob Bale
The Canadian National Institute for the Blind has begun a promotion in collaboration with nail salon chain The Ten Spot called “Braille Nails.” The national initiative seeks to raise awareness of and funds for the institute’s braille literacy programs. It is timed to coincide with Braille Literacy Month in January. Until Feb. 15, part of the proceeds from braille-themed nail art available at the chain will be donated to the institute.
“At The Ten Spot, we believe that everyone has the potential to do great things and thrive in all areas of life,” said Kristen Gale, CEO of The Ten Spot. “We are proud to partner with CNIB to support its braille literacy efforts and use our beauty bars to foster inclusive spaces for Canadians to learn, engage and support its cause across the country.”
