NATIONAL TRUST LAUNCHES MORTGAGE CAMPAIGN
By Adnews Staff
Earlier this month, National Trust of Toronto unveiled a mortgage that allows homeowners to avoid making payments for three months. Called The Worry-Free 1st Home Mortgage, the new product is available at National Trust branches across the country until June 30. Sharon Trethewey, National Trust's retail lending vice-president, says the mortgage is unique because the trust company picks up the tab for both the principal and interest during the first three months. She says most companies offering similar deals cover the principal only. The Worry-Free Mortgage is being supported by a radio campaign in National Trust markets across the country and by point-of-sale materials. The Wolf Group of Toronto is handling the campaign.
