Tim Hortons readies anniversary promotions

Tim Hortons has begun a series of promotions to coincide with its 60th anniversary. These promotions begin with the limited-time return of four discontinued menu items from the company’s history. These include the Dutchie, the Blueberry Fritter, the Cinnamon Sugar Twist and the Walnut Crunch. The chain has also introduced specially-branded cups and boxes featuring a 60th anniversary logo.

“We're honoured that for nearly six decades, so many Canadians have considered their local Tims a home away from home and have chosen to spend a part of their daily lives with us,” said Axel Schwan, president of Tim Hortons. “As we get ready to celebrate the official 60th anniversary of Tim Hortons opening its first restaurant on May 17th, 1964, we're planning a number of exciting ways to mark the occasion with our guests throughout the year.”
