Securian sponsors Global T20 Canada

Insurance company Securian Canada has signed a sponsorship agreement with Global T20 Canada. Through this agreement, the company will be the official insurance sponsor of the Twenty20 cricket league, described by the company as the first professional cricket league in North America. The third edition of the Global T20 Canada tournament will take place at TD Cricket Arena in Brampton, ON, from July 28 to Aug. 6.
“As an organization, we are here for Canadians and their families in the moments that matter, and we are so pleased to extend that support to the athletes, coaches and staff of Cricket Canada as a sponsor of this year’s GT20 tournament,” said Nigel Branker, CEO of Securian Canada. “Cricket is the second most popular sport in the world and we are excited to cheer on the teams alongside the growing cricket fanbase in Canada.”
