Waveland begins vaccination campaign

Waveland, a Toronto-based non-profit music organization, has begun a video campaign for the Public Health Agency of Canada's Vaccine Community Innovation Challenge. The campaign is being conducted in collaboration with musician Chris Clute. It is intended to educate Canadian men from visible minorities about the importance of getting vaccinated against COVID-19. The creative features an original song written in collaboration with Clute.

“When we wrote this song, it was at a time where I'd been losing touch with some of my close friends,” said Clute. “We'd just been kind of drifting apart. I think it's so important to reach out and maintain those relationships. Having those close relationships, with people who make us feel safe to open up to, are crucial to maintaining our mental and physical health. This is something I'm still trying to remember and implement in my own life.”
