COMPANY ADDS TO AGENCY MANAGEMENT TOOLS
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based Johnson Computer Software Team Ltd. recently released a time entry, approval and reporting service that runs on a standard Web browser. Called Time.Access, the service is available by subscription over the Internet. The release marks the second in a series of services JCST is developing for ad agencies. Its first product, Buyers.Access, is a Web-based tool providing on-line access to traditional media-buying reports on TV, radio, print and outdoor circulation, ratings and rates. JCST has also made a third service, Expense Access, available to people visiting its Web site. The service, being introduced as a usable demonstration, allows people to input expense data, store it on JCST's servers and make continuous updates to it. Future JCST releases will include accounts payable and accounts receivable units, profitability, client reporting and financial management services. Peter Hebb, president of JCST division NetAccess.JCST, said that because the Web-based products use a standard browser, they're easier for employees to use, can be used by employees in various locations without special network connections and can be used on different computer platforms. JCST is a developer of client/server solutions for the financial, publishing and advertising industries.
