DIESEL, TOUCHE! RECORD SUBSTANTIAL ACCOUNT WIN

Subway's 175 Quebec restaurants recently selected Montreal agency Diesel Marketing Inc. to handle the creative portion of its account, and Touche! Media-Marketing Inc. to handle its media buying . Other agencies competing for the over $2-million account were Communications bleu blanc rouge Inc. of Montreal and Initiative Media of Toronto. Cargo Communication Marketing Inc. of Quebec City had been the incumbent. As part of Diesel's repositioning plan for the restaurants, Subway's Quebec spokesperson, stand-up comic Jean-Marc Parent, will be dropped. Diesel's first Subway campaign is slated to launch sometime in the spring.
