Mediabrands launches inclusion practice

Mediabrands of Toronto has launched a new practice specializing in diversity and inclusion. Called Mediabrands Inclusive Media, the practive will support the company’s media agencies, UM, Initiative and Media Experts. Its purpose is to “empower our employees, clients, and partners to embed diversity, equity, and inclusion into the ways we work across the Canadian media industry,” according to the company. The firm goes on to state that the practive will provide clients with “thought leadership, resources, and data-driven research to make informed and inclusive planning and buying decisions.” It will be headed by Justin Senior as head of inclusive media.

“There is a lot of talk about diversity in media, but in establishing Mediabrands Inclusive Media, we hope to move the conversation into action and set the bar for how the industry approaches DEI in practice,” said Graham Moysey, CEO of Mediabrands. “We are very excited to have Justin Senior bring his wealth of experience and passion to the team and believe that clients and partners will see tremendous value in this offering.”
