Air Canada conducts Olympic campaign

Air Canada of Montreal has released a new television commercial called “Rise Higher” to coincide with the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. The creative encourages consumers to live their lives more fully. The campaign also includes five question-and-answer sessions with Team Canada members via Twitter, as well as a contest component. Consumers can enter to win two round-trip tickets to anywhere in North America the airline flies or one of six virtual experiences during which they will talk with athletes live from Tokyo.

“As a proud supporter of Team Canada going to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, we are transporting more than 740 Olympians and Paralympians, coaches and support staff,” said Andrew Shibata, brand vice-president at Air Canada. “The Canadian Olympic and Paralympic teams represent the very best of Canada when they fly our country’s flag at the world’s foremost sports competition, and in support and celebration of our country’s athletes, we created a special ‘Fly the Flag’ livery to honour them. We are proud to pay tribute to them with the launch of a new brand spot titled ‘Rise Higher’ that will be featured during the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games opening ceremony.”
