CPL readies promo book

The Canadian Premier League will release a book called “The Story of the Island Games” on Jan. 14 to commemorate its 2020 season. It includes a history of the season, accompanied by illustrations and photography. The book will be sold online at <https://store.canpl.ca> in hardcover and softcover editions.

The Island Games took place in Charlottetown, PE and included the participation of the league’s eight teams. The season consisted of a 28-game first stage, followed by a second round for the top four teams and concluding with the 2020 Canadian Premier League Championship.

“This book is representative of many things,” said David Clanachan, Canadian Premier League commissioner. “Memories, hardship, support, safety, endurance and, most importantly, success. We are thrilled to offer this book to our fans and supporters to celebrate what was another monumental year that celebrates all of us.”
