Sobeys begins holiday season campaign

Grocery store chain Sobeys has begun a holiday season campaign called “The Greatest Gift is Family.” According to the company, the initiative will focus on remaining connected with family members even if they are physically separated. The campaign makes use of in-store materials, flyers, social media content, digital advertising and a 30-second television commercial.
The effort will also include a fundraising component called the “Greatest Gift Drive,” conducted in collaboration with UGO Wallet. Consumers will be invited to purchase digital holiday greeting cards. Consumers will also be invited to donate to Community Food Centres Canada.
In addition, from Dec. 1 to 23, consumers can nominate a family member to receive a holiday-themed sticker and a chance to win one of 20 $200 gift cards.
