Kraft Heinz releases baby food book

Kraft Heinz Canada has begun a promotion in support of its new baby food brand Heinz by Nature. The promotion highlights the use of natural ingredients, minimal processing and recyclable packaging by the product line. The effort includes the release of an interactive childrens’ book called “A Wonderful Meal from Nature,” produced in collaboration with registered dietitian Abbey Sharp. The company is distributing the book and product samples to members of the online parenting community Moms Meet as well as other parenting groups.

“We know preparing your own baby food with simple ingredients can be daunting and not all new parents have the time,” said Daniel Gotlib, senior manager of brand building and innovation at Kraft Heinz Canada. “With Heinz by Nature, we've crafted a lineup of baby foods that parents can feel good about feeding their baby on-the-go or at home. Our products have no added salt or sugar and are free from artificial preservatives. Parents have options for organic or made with natural ingredients and acerola cherry. It's a high-quality baby food that caters to parents' needs.”
