CF Sherway Gardens readies drive-in movie promotion

Real estate development company Cadillac Fairview is preparing a promotion at its CF Sherway Gardens shopping mall in Etobicoke, ON. The promotion takes the form of a temporary drive-in movie theatre in the mall’s parking lot. For three weekends beginning July 30, the mall will screen two films per evening. Proceeds from the event will be donated to St. Joseph’s Hospital. The campaign is being conducted in association with the City of Toronto’s DriveInTO initiative.
“Building great experiences is at the heart of our business and this initiative is a chance to provide much needed entertainment to nearby residents in a way we've never done before,” said Andy Traynor, general manager of CF Sherway Gardens. “Following the success of the pilot Drive-In program program at CF Markville, we are excited to offer this nostalgic, quintessential summer tradition at our shopping centre. CF Sherway Gardens has always been seen as a go-to shopping and dining destination for families and we're happy to provide a memorable occasion to safely bring the community together.”
