SECOND SIGHT GETS EUROPEAN BUSINESS

Second Sight of Toronto will be starting the second phase of a project for a European packaged goods manufacturer to help the company double its volume and profit in three years, agency president Jake McCall told Adnews this week. McCall said he couldn't comment on the name of the company. During the phase, Second Sight will test the ideas that it came up with earlier this month to increase sales. After this is done, the agency will develop a new marketing plan for the next three years. During the first phase, Second Sight researched the brand, did store checks, interviewed the sales force and looked at sales patterns to see how the brand could be fixed and where it could go. Second Sight is a division of Bates Canada. It is a marketing and management consulting unit that was launched late last year. The division helps companies find fresh insights into such things as service, products and packaging. Companies get a list of recommendations on what they need to do in the next few years in order to grow.
