CREATIVE CHANGES AT JWT

J. Walter Thompson national and executive creative director Derek Chapman has left the agency. Shelley Ambrose, who was creative director at the Toronto-based firm, takes over as executive creative director. Ted Nation, JWT's president and CEO told Adnews that the closing of the agency's Vancouver office and the fact that JWT has a non-equity relationship with its Montreal affiliate, Groupaction Marketing Inc., meant that there was no longer a need for a national creative director.
