Republic adds five, promotes one

Toronto-based Republic has recently added five new staff members and promoted another. Jacob Barnes and Julie Wierzbicki have joined the agency as directors of client success. Barnes was most recently an account director at Sid Lee. Prior to that, he was an account supervisor at Co-op Advertising and an account manager at Top Hat. Wierzbicki was previously an account director at Giants & Gentlemen. Prior to that, she was an account executive at Anomaly and at JWT.
Fiona Scott has been appointed to the position of senior manager of digital marketing and growth. She was most recently email marketing manager at Loblaw Digital. She was also a marketing operations specialist at Snipp Interactive. Edyta McKindsey has joined the firm as director of first impressions. She was previously office and people manager at Uppercase. Michelle Nguyen has been hired as community manager. Cassie Chan has been promoted to the position of junior designer. She was previously an intern at the agency.
