Taco Bell readies Cheesiest Billboard campaign

Taco Bell Canada is preparing an out-of-home campaign to promote a new menu item called the Naked Chicken Chalupa with Nacho Cheese. The campaign, which will take place on Jan. 19, will make use of a billboard in downtown Toronto that will dispense Nacho cheese onto any food item a consumer may bring to it. As part of the campaign, promotional workers will distribute samples of the product for a limited time at the site of the billboard. Taco Bell is a subsidiary of Yum Brands.

"The 'Cheesiest Billboard' comes off the heels of a groundbreaking year for us," said Veronica Castillo, head of marketing at Taco Bell Canada. "Kicking off the year with a Nacho cheese-dispensing billboard means that 2019 will be as crazy as ever for us. Plus, our fans know it's impossible to deny the appeal of warm, gooey, zesty nacho cheese, and we couldn't agree more. Nacho cheese will be the perfect addition to the Naked Chicken Chalupa, already a fan-favourite."
