Government grants marketing funding to five Quebec firms

The Government of Canada, through its Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions agency, has announced a total of $1.175 million in funding to five Quebec companies to support their marketing activities and their efforts to innovate. The recipients are optical equipment maker Doric Lenses, 3D animation studio Squeeze Studio Animation, laser measurement equipment maker Gentec Electro-Optics, 3D-printed food company Devoray, and Développement Solugen, a maker of liquid hog manure processing systems.

"By helping businesses invest in equipment and devices that will enhance their performance, and by promoting product marketing and market development projects, the Government of Canada is meeting its commitment to foster expansion, innovation and exports," said Jean-Yves Duclos, Minister of Families, Children and Social Development.
