Advocis launches financial literacy website

Toronto-based Advocis, a professional association representing Canadian financial advisors, has launched a new financial literacy website called Financial Advice for All. Located at <http://www.www.financialadviceforall.com>, the site offers a collection of information for consumers concerning subjects such as mortgages, interest rates and financial planning. The site will also host a podcast on the topic of financial literacy. The launch of the site is timed to coincide with Financial Literacy Month.

"The theme for this FinLit month is establishing financial well-being," said Greg Pollock, president and CEO of Advocis. "This requires a well thought-out financial plan that grows with you. With the launch of Financial Advice for All, we've taken a new approach to discussing personal finances. We're providing consumers with clear information that gets straight to the point. It's about having a suitable, and realistic overarching plan for your finances. It's also about developing sound financial habits."
