Advocis breaks new campaign

Toronto-based Advocis, a non-profit association representing financial advisors and planners, has begun a new advertising campaign intended to raise awareness of certain proposed regulatory changes regarding financial advisors. According to the organization, these changes could limit consumer access to financial advice. The campaign consists of television advertising in the southern Ontario and national online video pre-roll ads, as well as a website at <http://www.financialadviceforall.com>. The 30-second commercial depicts a couple consulting with a financial advisor. The campaign, developed by ClearMedia.tv of Toronto, will run until June 11.
