Moneris launches digital marketing analysis tool

Toronto-based payment processing company Moneris Solutions has debuted a new marketing analytics function called Offlinx. According to the company, the service is the first in Canada to connect digital spending to in-store sales. It is intended to allow businesses to measure the in-store effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns. The system is intended to anonymously link consumers browsing data to transactions processed by the Moneris payment network.

"The line between digital and physical worlds is blurring, and no where is that clearer than in the retail industry," said Jeff Guthrie, chief sales and marketing officer at Moneris. "Businesses need an accurate way to understand where consumers are interacting with their brand and products, and how customers are spending their money. We now have a tool that can help answer those questions and capture the customer journey from the first click to the final purchase, wherever that takes place."
