Canadian Premier League adds marketing staff

Toronto-based professional soccer league the Canadian Premier League has appointed Roy Nasrallah to the position of vice-president of marketing. He will oversee the league's branding, promotion, communications and major events, in collaboration with individual teams. Joelle Elfassy has joined the league as director of marketing. She was most recently senior manager of product development at Stadium Digital. Kurt Larson has been appointed managing editor of the CanPL.ca website and director of content for the league. He has previously worked for the Toronto Sun and Postmedia. Micki Benedetti has joined the company as director communications. She will oversee corporate communications, publicity, media relations and influencer activities. She previously operated her own firm called MB Communications.
