CTV rebrands four specialty channels

Bell Media of Toronto is preparing to rebrand four of its specialty television channels as CTV properties. The channels Space, Bravo, Comedy and Gusto will be renamed CTV Sci-Fi, CTV Drama, CTV Comedy and CTV Life. Along with existing video-on-demand channels CTV Movies and CTV Vault, they will be packaged as a new subscription-based digital video service. The service will be available via a website, on mobile devices, video game consoles and smart television devices.
"We are doubling down on the strength of CTV and are incredibly excited about the CTV super-hub as a sponsor-friendly platform that will greatly expand discoverability for viewers," said Stewart Johnston, president of media sales, marketing and TSN at Bell Media. "Combined with the newly-created digital ad inventory from CTV Movies and CTV Vault, we are dramatically increasing the opportunity for advertisers to reach our audiences."
