Awards: Canadian Public Relations Society
The Canadian Public Relations Society conducted its annual National Awards of Excellence event in Charlottetown this week. The awards recognize achievement in Canadian public relations and communications.
The City of Calgary won the Marketing Communications Campaign of the Year award for its "Calgary 2017" general election program. Community Relations Campaign of the Year was awarded to PetSmart Canada and Golin for their "Buy a Bag, Give a Meal" program. The Advocacy and Social Marketing Campaign of the Year was conducted by the City of Gatineau Police Service.
The Media Relations Campaign of the Year was conducted by the Business Development Bank of Canada. The Issues or Crisis Management Campaign of the Year award went to the Fédération des médecins spécialistes du Québec. Health Care Campaign of the Year was awarded to St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton. The Digital Communications Campaign of the Year was conducted by Argyle Public Relationships and the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association.
