Wayne Gretzky Estates begins My Walter campaign

Niagara-based Wayne Gretzky Estates Winery & Distillery has begun a Father's Day promotion called "My Walter." The effort encourages consumers to submit stories about their fathers via YouTube, Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. The campaign includes an online video featuring Wayne Gretzky and his father Walter. The campaign will run until June 17, concluding with an event at the winery on Father's Day.
"Walter is the quintessential Canadian father," said Katie Elder, marketing director at Wayne Gretzky Estates. "We've all been inspired about stories of Walter over the years and developed this campaign to inspire others to share their stories. We're confident there are millions of them."
