ADOBE LAUNCHES ENHANCED VERSIONS OF SOFTWARE

Adobe Systems Inc. of San Jose, California introduced new versions of its graphics and publishing software this week to the North American market. The graphics software is called Adobe Photoshop 4.0 and the publishing package is called PageMaker 6.5. Both programs are for the Microsoft Windows 95 and Windows NT platforms and use 32-bit technology. Both Photoshop and PageMaker share common user interface elements, such as tabbed palettes, menu locations and keyboard shortcuts. Adobe officials were unavailable to comment on advertising plans for the two packages
