Helene Fischer hires 45 Degrees

German pop music singer Helene Fischer has retained 45 Degrees of Montreal to design her upcoming concert tour. The agency is the events and special project unit of Cirque du Soleil. The assignment includes artistic direction, lighting, choreography, special effects, props design, video content, costumes, hair, makeup and pyrotechnics. The work was done in collaboration with tour producer Semmel Concerts and with stage design company Entertainment Architects Stufish. According to 45 Degrees, the venture represents an expansion of its live entertainment capabilities.
"45 Degrees is now positioned to offer turnkey show design services in the live music industry," said Yasmine Khalil, president of 45 Degrees. "The experience and expertise earned over the years through the development of Cirque du Soleil's one-of-a-kind events and special projects has equipped our team with the skills and creative capabilities to take on this challenge."
